I have always been a fan of the Urban Decay eye shadow palettes from the start of experimenting make up looks, they have amazing colour selection and have a range of tones which work so well together. I remember when i first purchased the Naked - i thought it was the best palette ever because i loved pink shades and glitter but when i saw the first teasers of the Naked Heat palette I knew this would be my favourite of them all.

This palette was different - it came in a plastic casing that makes it a little more bulkier but also more durable and easier to keep clean ( great for my because my make up packaging gets so dirty). The design is quite 80s and probably stands out the most out of all the palettes so far due to the design and how bright it is.

The palette has 12 shadows, 5 of which are shimmer and the rest are matte. The overall colour scheme for the palette is a warm amber hue which flatters all eye colours. The quality of the shadows, like all Urban Decay palettes are amazing, very pigmented and easy to blend together.

My favourite shades are Lumbre, He Devil, Cayenne and En Fuego - all matte. They range from being suttle to very bold and work so well together when you want to do a smoky eye. I love the shimmer shades as well especially when i add a touch to the centre of the lid - i feel like it just adds more dimension to the eye.

I would say it’s definitely a palette for those willing to rock a bolder eye look, but if you’ve previously been scared on warm toned shadows I say give it a go! You might be surprised...
