My tanning routine

I always find that no matter what time of year it is a tan makes me look 100 times better. However it is one of those tasks that just takes me so long as there are so many different stages i have to do before the application.

Here are my steps which i take to achieve my even, streak free tan:

Step 1: Ensure your skin is clean, exfoliated and free of any moisturisers as they can affect and change how the tan will come out.

Step 2: Firstly shake the tanning bottle and then pump a tangerine sized amount of tan onto the tanning mitt (you don't want to apply too much as it can set very quickly). Using a long sweeping motion apply to legs, arms and body i sometimes then using small circled motions to make sure it is applied all over.

Step 3: Use the remaining residue on the tanning mitt for face, elbows and knees (make sure they are extremely exfoliated before taking this step as it can clump together and can become very dark).

Tip: If you are prone to breakouts on the face do not apply as it can result in more and can become easily irrated.

Step 4: Allow to dry for a minimum of 1 hour and then finally shower off. For a longer lasting and darker tan leave foam on skin for up to 6 hours. Shower with warm water and gently pat skin dry.

Tip: For the deepest tan re-apply Bondi Sands self tanning foam 30 minutes after initial application.

Step 5: Moisture skin for the smooth goddess look! ( I do this straight after the shower and then every day.

P.S. I occasionally use the Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk every so often to ensure it is kept fresh.
